The invention relates to a method of detecting and/or quantifying expression of a target protein candidate in a cell, and to a method of identifying a target protein of a small molecule modulator. This invention is also best-known registered trademark called Target ID.
With a potential market as a research tool, this method can be used to identify a drug candidate.
The application for this invention initially filed in Europe, then went national phase of International application PCT/EP2007/008211, filed on Sept. 20, 2007; which claims the benefit of US Provisional Application No. 60/952,982, filed on July. 31, 2007. The applications were filed in Korea, Japan, Canada, Australia, US and in Hong Kong. The Australia patent application was issued on January 09, 2009.
