TALK TITLE
Liver toxicity
ABSTRACT
Liver toxicity is relatively common problems and often leads to attrition of the compound in non-clinical development. Because of species-difference between animals and human, translation of the animal data to human is always a hurdle to overcome. Basic function and structure of the liver will be reviewed, and some interesting cases that occurred during animal toxicology studies will be discussed as well.
