Institut Pasteur Korea (IPK), an international institute contributing to global public health through excellent research, broad international cooperation, and active educational efforts, is inviting (under)graduate students with plans to pursue a career in the field of biomedicine to the Campus tour!

IPK is a non-profit research institute established in 2004 based on the scientific collaboration between Korea and France and is a world-leading research institute representing Pangyo Techno-Valley in Gyeonggi-do – a biomedical hub in the metropolitan area. Since designated as a UST campus in 2014 for the first time as a private research institute, the UST-IPK Campus runs a master's and doctoral program in the bio-medical convergence major.

Take the opportunity to observe the scene of passion where researchers from more than 10 different countries work together to research in various fields, focusing on infectious diseases including COVID-19, hepatitis, antibiotic resistance, cancer, and viral immunity. Our faculty and current students will be happy to help you find the answers to your questions about research and career path in the bio-medical field.

[About Institut Pasteur Korea]

Institut Pasteur Korea (IPK) is Korea’s non-profit research institute established in 2004 based on the scientific collaboration between Korea and France, with the aim to benefit global public health through infectious disease research. Multinational researchers from more than 10 countries around the world are utilizing advanced capabilities and infrastructures such as the image-based drug discovery screening platform (phenomic screen) to investigate occurrence mechanisms and accelerate drug discovery for novel infectious diseases such as MERS, Zika, and COVID-19, as well as diseases that threaten humanity today, including viral hepatitis, tuberculosis, antibiotic-resistant infections, neglected diseases, and cancer. As a member of the Institut Pasteur International Network (IPIN), consisting of 33 member institutes in 25 countries across 5 continents, IPK plays a key role in leading early drug discovery within the Network. Moreover, by providing source technology to bridge the gap between Korea and international biomedical science and by facilitating multidisciplinary global projects, IPK is contributing to Korea's accumulation of science, knowledge, and technology resources as well as global infectious disease response and preparedness.
