From AI Innovation to One Health Action for AMR

 

Institut Pasteur Korea (IPK) will host the 5th RAPID Symposium on November 5 (Thu), 2026, under the theme “From AI Innovation to One Health Action for AMR.”

*RAPID (R&D Alliance for Preparedness of Infectious Diseases) was established in 2022 by infectious disease experts from the Asia-Pacific region within the Pasteur Network to strengthen international research collaboration in preparing for and responding to future pandemics.
 

The symposium will address antimicrobial resistance (AMR), often referred to as a “silent pandemic,” by highlighting the latest research advances driven by artificial intelligence (AI) and exploring integrated response strategies and opportunities for international collaboration based on the One Health approach.
 

Bringing together experts from leading research institutions and universities across Asia, Europe, and Oceania, the symposium will feature two thematic sessions—One Health on AMR and AI on AMR—followed by a panel discussion. The event aims to provide a platform for sharing the latest research developments and response strategies in AMR while fostering international research collaboration. We warmly invite researchers and experts from Korea and abroad to join us.
