다. 지원자격 :
- 인공지능, 컴퓨터공학, 데이터 사이언스, 또는 관련 분야(ChemBioinformatics 등) 관련 학과 석사 학위 이상 소지자
- 다양한 AI 모델링 프로젝트 수행한 연구원 (DL/ML, VLM, LLM/NLP generative modeling etc)
- Transformer, GNN 등 최신 딥러닝 아키텍처에 대한 깊은 이해와 딥러닝 프레임워크 숙련자
라. 우대사항 :
- Chemistry, Biology, Drug Discovery 관련 도메인 프로젝트 수행 경험자 (Chemistry, transcriptomics, proteomics, 세포 이미지 분석(Cell Painting) 등)
- 연구 실적: 관련 분야 우수 컨퍼런스 또는 저널 논문 게재자

2. 담당업무
- 신약개발 관련 다양한 데이터를 활용한 멀티모달 예측 모델 구축 (화합물 구조, 세포 이미지, 단백질, omics 등)

• VLM 모델링: HCS 생물학적 이미지와 화합물 구조(SMILES/Graph)로부터 유의미한 생물학적 특징량을 추출 및 통합 학습하는 Multimodal VLM 구축 (CLIP, VLP 등)
• 생성형 AI 적용: 특정 표현형(Phenotype)을 유도하는 신규 화합물 설계 또는 데이터 증강을 위한 Generative AI 알고리즘 개발

- 내/외부 신약개발 프로젝트에 참여하여 실험 부서(Biologist, Chemist)와의 긴밀한 소통을 통한 AI 예측 결과의 실험적 검증 피드백 루프 구축.

Job Opening in the AI Drug Discovery (AI Research Part)
 
1. Responsibility
- Multimodal Predictive Modeling: Build predictive models integrating diverse drug discovery data, including chemical structures, cellular images, proteins, and omics data.

• VLM Modeling: Develop Multimodal VLMs (e.g., CLIP, VLP) to extract and integrate meaningful biological features from HCS biological images and chemical structures (SMILES/Graph).
• Generative AI Application: Develop Generative AI algorithms for de novo drug design aimed at inducing specific phenotypes or for data augmentation.

- Project Collaboration: Participate in internal and external drug discovery projects, establishing an experimental validation feedback loop through close communication with experimental teams (Biologists and Chemists).

3. Qualification
<Essential>
- Education: Master’s degree or higher in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields (e.g., Cheminformatics, Bioinformatics).
- Experience: Proven track record in diverse AI modeling projects, including Deep Learning/Machine Learning, VLM, LLM/NLP, and Generative Modeling.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of state-of-the-art architectures (e.g., Transformers, GNNs) and proficiency in deep learning frameworks.
<Desirable>
- Experience in projects related to the following domains: Chemistry, Biology, or Drug Discovery (e.g., Cheminformatics, Transcriptomics, Proteomics, or Cell Painting/Bio-image analysis).
- Publication record in top-tier conferences or journals in relevant fields.
- Excellent teamwork and English communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a multicultural research environment.
- A self-motivated and diligent individual capable of defining and solving complex research problems independently.
