(KBS News 9) Extending the current social distancing for the next three weeks... Sign of the ``UK variants`` spreading nationwide

Dr. Seungtaek Kim, Head of Zoonotic Virus Lab of Institut Pasteur Korea, shared expert opinions on the impact of SARS-CoV-2 variants on vaccines and antibody treatments at the KBS News 9. He mentioned that relatively more mutations were found at the spike protein of the virus, the target sites of vaccines and antibody treatment, and there were cases reported current vaccines or antibody treatments were less effective against the variants.
