Institut Pasteur Korea (IPK) will be holding a satellite session under the theme of “Antimicrobial Resistance: Neglected Pandemic” at the Korean Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (KSBMB) International Conference 2022.
The session will focus on preparation and response against antimicrobial resistance (AMR), which is expected to cause yet another global public health crisis following the COVID-19 pandemic. In-depth discussions will be held on domestic and global burdens of AMR, measures to implement One Health approach across various sectors, and R&D strategies to develop innovative therapeutics.
This Satellite session will take place on Wednesday, May 25, between 1-3 p.m., at BEXCO Room 203-204, Busan. We look forward to much participation of researchers on this global exchange to respond to AMR, which has been silently and continuously expanding its threats to humanity, tucked under the big waves of COVID-19.
