Institut Pasteur Korea (IPK) is willing to invite a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with expertise and competency to develop the institute into a leading international research institute specializing in infectious diseases and consolidate its status as a translational research institute for new drug development.
1. Position
♦ Chief Executive Officer of IPK (Term: 3 years, eligible for consecutive terms)
2. Qualifications
♦ A person with outstanding research achievements in the area of infectious diseases
♦ A person who is highly knowledgeable and experienced in translational research for drug development
♦ A person who has excellent operational competency, which enables presenting leadership with vision and managing the institute
♦ A person with experience and competency in global networking and activities
♦ A person able to communicate fluently in English
♦ A person who is not disqualified under Article 8 of the Articles of Incorporation
| ※ IPK Articles of Incorporation, Article 8 (Disqualification of Executives) ①Any person who falls into each subparagraph of Article 33 of the State Public Officials Act shall not be an Executive of IP Korea. Also, any person for whom two years have not passed since the approval of their assumption of office was canceled in accordance with Paragraph 2, Article 14 of the Act on the Establishment and Operation of Public Interest Corporations shall not be an Executive of IP Korea. ②Any Executive who comes under Paragraph ① above shall automatically be retired from office. |

♦ Submitted documents will be used solely for the selection process and will not be returned.
