The Institut Pasteur Korea (IPK) formally dismisses accusations made in the article ‘Stealing MERS samples was act of bioterrorism' published on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 by The Korea Times.  IPK vehemently rejects the misleading accusations and slanders contained in the article, which was written by the former CEO of IPK, Mr. Hakim Djaballah, who was unanimously dismissed by the Board of Directors of IPK on March 7, 2016.  
 
IPK asserts that the publication of the article, ‘Stealing MERS samples was act of bioterrorism’ may induce a serious prejudice against IPK’s integrity and reputation and is now considering follow-up actions.
