Institut Pasteur Korea & GE Healthcare co-chair ‘Drug Discovery Symposium‘

Pangyo, Gyeonggi, 20 Apr, 2016| On 19 Apr, Institut Pasteur Korea (CEO: Roberto Bruzzone) and GE Healthcare co-chaired the successful ‘Drug Discovery Symposium - See What Others Don’t’ at InterContinental Coex. Over 100 members of the Korean scientific community attended the drug discovery symposium.
 
During the symposium, GE Healthcare introduced new technologies for drug discovery and speakers from Institut Pasteur Korea and Yonsei University shared their expertise in applying drug discovery technologies in disease related research.  Speakers shared their expertise on diverse topics like - Interrogating Genomic Information into Biomarkers & Therapeutics; Integrative Approach of Drug & Target Discovery; Amplifying the Screening Outcomes Using Diverse Chemical Libraries, Natural Products and Synergetic Studies. And one speaker focused on high content/high throughput screening technology for drug discovery in neglected tropical diseases with a focus on Leishmaniasis and Trypanosomiasis.
