Pangyo, Gyeonggi, 10 July, 2015| Institut Pasteur Korea (IPK) announces the appointment of Ms. Dohee Kim as head of Communications and Public Relation, and promote Mr. Jinhyun Park to the position of Director of Planning and Management. In her new role, Ms. Kim will provide professional oversight and expertise to ensure ongoing communications with the various government authorities and agencies in Korea. Mr. Park will continue to oversee the institute budget planning and close interaction with the funding agencies.
 
"Dohee's knowledge, experiences, enthusiasm and work ethics will make her an asset to our institute" commented Dr. Hakim Djaballah, CEO of IPK. He added "historically, it was mandated that active researchers at our institute are given this task, but since my arrival last July, I just felt that a professional communicator with experience in public relations should be in charge of this important task to further promote our institute mission and research objectives".
 
Dohee said "I am honored to work with IPK which has a clear mission and vision for all mankind. I hope my experience will help to deliver IPK’s fundamental mission and vision to the public." Prior to joining IPK, Ms. Kim was in LafargeHalla Cement, which is a French building material company, and UL Korea, which is US certification organization.

"With more than 13 years' experience in budget planning and RnD fund management, I have the utmost confidence in his ability to further enhance our ability to plan and obtain funding".
 
JinHyun said "I have come back to IPK because I was convinced of Dr. Djaballah’s management philosophy, professionalism in science and leadership. I will do my best so that we can open a new chapter through securing stable funding for our institute".
