Institut Pasteur Korea signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Science & Technology Business Institute for mutual cooperation for facilitating technology commercialization.
The MOU provides a cornerstone for both institutions to collaborate on mobilizing scientific resources, promoting commercialization, accelerating start-ups, and supporting investment linkages.
"We will support the bio startup industry and foster their technological innovation through collaboration with a specialized science and technology accelerator. In addition, we will enhance mutual collaboration for the advancement of artificial intelligence-based bio ecosystem using our accumulated scientific resources," said Byungkwon Lim, CEO of Institut Pasteur Korea.
"Through this MOU, we aim to leverage the core capabilities of the leading domestic research institution focused on infectious diseases to contribute to the growth of bio start-ups and industrial development," said Junsuk Kil, CEO of Science & Technology Business Institute.
