Institut Pasteur Korea and Yonsei University College of Medicine will partner to develop new therapeutic options

Institut Pasteur Korea and the Yonsei University College of Medicine have signed a Memorandum of Understanding covering scientific collaborations in drug discovery research.

To strengthen and expand cooperation, Institut Pasteur Korea and the Yonsei University College of Medicine have agreed to collaborate in 1) discovery of therapeutics against human diseases, 2) evaluation of efficacy and safety of novel drug candidates, 3) drug development for improving public health, 4) drug resistance studies and 5) development of imaging technologies for High Content Screening (HCS). Additionally, both organizations will carry forward training of scientists in the field of bio science and technology, operation of a joint PhD Program and information and technology sharing.

In particular, the researchers of Institut Pasteur Korea and Yonsei University College of Medicine will conduct a collaborative research utilizing the innovative drug discovery technology platforms of Institut Pasteur Korea enabling High Content Screening. Both organizations will also work together to promote human networking through researchers exchange programs, such as visiting scientist and Adjunct Research Professorship, and to expand an international research network with Institut Pasteur and its 32 international network.
