Two members of Institut Pasteur Korea received awards on 'Science, Information and Communication Day'

Received Commendation from the Minister of Science and ICT -
Institut Pasteur Korea(IPK) announced that two members were awarded the Order of Science and Technology Merit Jinbo medal and the Commendation from the Minister of Science and ICT at the '2024 Science, Information and Communication Day' Ceremony held at the Gwacheon National Science Museum on April 22.
The awardees are Dr. Regis Grailhe, Head of Tech Development Platform, and Mr. Jinhyun Park, Head of Research Resource Center Support.

Dr. Grailhe, who was awarded the Order of Science and Technology Merit Jinbo medal, was recognized for playing a pivotal role in the advancement of IPK over the past 20 years.
Especially he pioneered the introduction and innovation of image-based drug screening platforms and the translational research infrastructure in Korea, contributing to life science and drug discovery.
Mr. Park, who was awarded the Commendation from the Minister of Science and ICT, contributed to the establishment and operation system of the ‘Virus Research Resource Center,’ a facility open to scientific communities that promotes research and development for pandemic response and preparedness. He has also been acknowledged for supporting the successful growth of bio startups.
The MSIT celebrated the 57th Science Day and the 69th Information and Communications Day by honoring persons who have made distinguished efforts in the development of science and technology in Korea.
