(June, 24, 2025, Gyeonggi-do, Rep. of Korea) Institut Pasteur Korea (IPK) announced on the 9th that it has been selected to carry out the “2025 Gyeonggi Province Bio-Europe Network Expansion Support Program,” initiated by Gyeonggi Province with the goal of strengthening global R&DB collaboration. The program aims to support bio companies based in Gyeonggi Province in enhancing their international competitiveness and expanding into European markets.

This initiative is designed to promote global commercialization by providing tailored support that aligns with the specific needs of each participating bio company. It also aims to facilitate the establishment of broader European networks. The program includes strategic consulting for global capacity building, development of English marketing materials, and coaching to enhance effective and natural speaking skills for international partnering.

Participating companies will also receive partial financial support for registration in BIO-Europe 2025, one of the largest biotechnology partnering events in Europe, to be held from November 3 to 5, 2025 in Vienna, Austria. The program will select ten bio companies located in Gyeonggi Province that are preparing for European expansion.

In addition, IPK plans to host a technology exchange forum and a seminar later this year. These events will focus on strengthening global capabilities and promoting successful entry into European markets, including presentations from Korean companies that have already achieved success abroad.

Sung Key Jang, CEO of Institut Pasteur Korea, stated that the institute, founded through Korea–France scientific collaboration, will leverage its over 20 years of Europe-focused expertise to support Gyeonggi-based bio companies in enhancing their global competitiveness. He added that this program will provide an excellent opportunity for companies considering European expansion to access valuable networks and insights.

Applications will be accepted until 4:00 PM on Friday, June 20. Additional details are available on the IPK website.
