expanding cooperation with Institut Pasteur




The delegation of Institut Pasteur Korea (IPK), including Dr. Sung Key Jang (CEO), Dr. Myung-Chul Lee (Chairman), and Dr. Dimitri Lavillette (CSO), visited Institut Pasteur (IP) from April 8 to 9. In celebration of IPK's 20th anniversary, both organizations discussed avenues for expanding cooperation.



IPK CEO Dr. Jang and IP President Prof. Yasmine Belkaid exchanged insights into the R&D and management strategies of each institution. IPK CEO Dr. Jang also presented IPK's key R&D pillars, including developments in treatments, vaccines, and diagnostics. Various meetings were held with executives and researchers at IP to find cooperation in infectious disease research and commercialization.



Additionally, discussions were held with Korean scientists at IP and with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to France to explore ways to encourage international cooperation.
