[Institut Pasteur Korea @ Bio-Synergy Research Center Newsletter]
The Advanced Biomedical Research Team's research on developing treatments for liver cancer and liver fibrosis was introduced!

The research on developing treatments for liver cancer and liver fibrosis by the Advanced Biomedical Research Team at Institut Pasteur Korea was introduced in the June newsletter of the Bio-Synergy Research Center.

The Advanced Biomedical Research Team, led by Dr. Haengran Seo, is developing new drugs for the prevention and treatment of liver fibrosis using flavanone-derived derivatives. Dr. Seo’s team is striving to develop advanced drug candidates applicable for clinical research by identifying the liver fibrosis inhibition mechanism of CBL8300, a flavanone derivative-based drug candidate for liver fibrosis, and verifying their nonclinical efficacy through animal testing. Furthermore, the team is aiming to translate the research results into practical use by transferring the technology of preclinical candidates to a bio venture specializing in Oriental medicine. This study is conducted as part of the
<Bio-Synergy Technology with Medicinal Heritage> supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT.

Check out the detailed story of the Advanced Biomedical Research Team that puts all their heart and passion into “developing better treatment rather than a good journal!”
