Institut Pasteur Korea Recruits Participants for UST Ph.D. Course and RNAi Screening Training Program

Pangyo, Gyeonggi, Sep. 17, 2015| Institut Pasteur Korea (IPK, CEO: Dr. Hakim Djaballah) recruits new students of IPK-UST campus for 2016 spring semester and participants for RNAi Screening training program.
 
IPK is planning to select 2 Ph.D. students who will major in Biological Chemistry at UST-IPK campus from spring semester next year. New students are given a monthly scholarship of about 2 million KRW and an opportunity to study with global scientists from IP-Network. Application period is Oct. 1 to Oct. 12, 2015 and final selection will be announced on Dec. 10, 2015.
 
IPK also opens a new ‘High Content Screening (HCS) training program’ for those interested or working in RNAi technology, and invites participants. The course is to be held for 5 days from Nov. 16 to Nov. 20 at IPK located in Pangyo, Gyeonggi-do. Main curriculum of this course is a cell-based assay development and large RNAi screening data analysis. Training participants will be evenly selected within 20 people with both Korean researchers and international researchers from IP-Network. Through HCS program, IPK would like to provide an educational opportunity and a chapter for international networking at the same time.
