Philippine Ambassador visits IP-K seeking for scientific collaboration

Philippine’s Ambassador to South Korea, Luis T. Cruz, visited Institut Pasteur Korea (IP-K), the internationally-renowned translational research institute, seeking for future scientific collaboration. The visit of Ambassador Luis T. Cruz follows an invitation of Dr. Lucio Freitas-Junior, the Director of the Center for Neglected Diseases Drug Discovery at IP-K. Ambassador Luis T. Cruz has toured the laboratory of Center for Neglected Disease Drug Discovery and explored the cutting-edge technologies that IP-K has developed for past 7 years. He expressed great interest in IP-K’s unique technology platform and advanced drug discovery program in neglected disease, such as Malaria, Chagas disease, and Dengue. The Ambassador delivered his will for future collaboration by saying “Many people in Philippine are suffering from Malaria and Dengue and I am expecting the partnership with IP-K will open a new door for cure.”
